Happy Mardi Gras!

Our little guy has been busy!  Now that David can crawl, he has been getting into EVERYTHING.  He's keeping us on our toes, for sure!  He's gotten much better at crawling and is almost sitting up all by himself.  To add to his excitement, we celebrated Mardi Gras with a visit from Gigi (aka Camille) and Grandpa Greg.  David loved all of the extra attention.

Six months!

On February 5th, our little man turned 6 months old!  It's hard to believe that it's already been a half of a year!  He's weighing in at 19 pounds 3 ounces and is 27 inches long.  That's puts him right at the 75th percentile for both height and weight.  He has two teeth and is already mobile!  He doesn't crawl quite yet, but he does this cute inch-worm like movement to move from place to place.  It's surprisingly effective.

The little guy at 6 months - note the barely visible teeth.

"Mmm ... Mom, your toe is so tasty!"

"Doing taxes?  Let me help!  I'll handle that 1099-DIV for you."

"Mmm ... banana mush in a bag."

"Ooo!  I got your computer!  Can I go to the SVCUG now?"

"Yea!  Dad's power cord!  I love this thing!"

"Mmm ... tastes like king cake!"

"Mmm ... tastes like jungle."

"Ahhh ... there's no better way to end the day than relaxing in a your own personal spa."

Some pics from a few recent hikes

We're thrilled that we've been able to get outside and enjoy the incredibly nice weather we've been having.  We've taken David on a couple of hikes - he seems to really like them!  Here are a few pics from our hike in Wilder Ranch State Park (with friends Chris, Katie, Jacob, and Alex) and Edgewood County Park.

The only downside to all of this sunshine is the lack of snow in Tahoe ... we have a ski trip planned for later this month, but it looks like we may be canceling it.
